BAILED. April 7, steamer Wanaka, 276, M'Gillivray, for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttciten. ~ schooner Reward, 41, CoiEuy, for Kaiapoi. — steamer Lady Barkly, 3D, Walker, fqiGolden Bay. The Kenm d/ teached Wesfprt at 4 p tn yesterday, and iB due at Hokitilca this altarnoon. The Charles Edward leaves Hokitika for Grey mouth this afternoon. The Walhce sails for Wanganui and Wellington nt eleven o'clock to-night. The Murray left Wesfport at 3 o'clock this morning for Nelson. She sails for Weßt Coast ports Jo-morrow at 4 p.m. ; The Lady BarkVy Bailed for Golden Bay at noon to-day. The Vindex will finish discharging tomorrow morning! and sail for Newcastle in the afternoou.; The Penguin leaves Wellington at 6 i o'clock this evening, and will be in and out of here by the* midday tide to-morrow, sailing at 3 p.m. for Taranaki and Manukau. The Reward sailed for Kaianoi this morning with the machinery of Webley's cloth mill. While coming alongside the Railway wharf at 230 a.m. Captain Coffey tumbled overboard. The cry of "Man overboard!" was raised, and in a short space of time he was pulled out of the waterj none the worse for, his sudden immersion. The Wstnaka, with the Southern portion of the inward San Francisco mail, left Ooeturigaatll a.m. on Tuesday, and reached Taranaki at 330 a.m. yesterday; landed mails, passengers, &c, and proceeded on to Nelson at 930 o.m. Strong SW. winds were experienced while crossing the Straits which retarded the progress of the eteamer considerably, so much so that she did not arrive alongside the wharf until halfpast two o'clock this morning. As it was then nearly high water there wo s. very little time to do anythiog, consequently only the passengers, mails, and luggage were landed, and at' a quarter past three, the Wanaka was on her way to Picton. Her cargo will probably be brought on here by the Penguin to-morrow.
