She leaves -the former port.onjan excursion trip to Picton at 1 p.m. ou Monday, returning ob Thursday. Tho Norfolk has left ■'Wellington for Sydney, and from. there ane proceeds to China. There are,Beyeral vessels from Home now considerably overdue at Wellington. The Hawea leaves Wellington at 1 p.m. on Monday,;, will arrive here,, on Tuesday morning, and f'gait by the same 'tide at noon for Picton, Wellington, arid South. ' Tha R.ic!a*d and Mary, which we reported 'yesterday as being dangerously close to the Boulder Bank when we went to press, was at that time hard and .fast on the bounders. She missed stays three times, and on the last occasion, as she was getting close to the/sjbpr&,. one of the. anchors was let go, but the schooner then being among the breakers it would not hold, and the other anchor was dropped awl 45 fathoms of chain paidtbut^but even this, failed to bold her, and she ilragged- on to the shore, where Bho bumped heavily until the^tide left her.. Arrangements had-' been made for a steamer to tow her off, but fortunately there ..was no need of any assistance, for at 9 o'clock the Richard and Mary floated off, the sea having gone down in the meantime. She then retuned to harbor, and this morning hauled alongside Mr Fraozen'd wharf, J where her ballast was put out. It is impossible until tho copper has been stripped off her to tell what damage she has received.
