NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special \ Meeting of the Council of the City of Nelson, held on Friday, the 25th day of March instant, the following Resolution was passed :— "That In pursuance of The Municipal "Corporations Act, 1876, and The Hating "Act, 1876, the Council of the City of " Nelßon hereby make the following Water " Rate for the period commencing Ist April, " IPBI, and ending 31et March, 1882 : 11 In respect of the ordinary supply : " (A.) Upon all lands and buildings to which " water is supplied from the Waterworks, "whose rateable value on the Valuation « Roll " Does not exceed £12 10a, a rate of 10a per annum, " Exceeds £12 10s, a rate of £Mos per cent, on such value. " (b.) Upon all lands and buildings to which " water can be but is not supplied, situate " within one hundred yarda from any part j " of the Waterworks, a rate of one -half of " the rates abovementioned.
