The Charles Edward left Westport for Kelaon tbis morning. Tfce Wallace leaves Nelson for Wanganui on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Kennedy sailed last evening for the *West Coast. The Lady Barkly relumed from Golden Bay laßt night. The Grafton will arrive here from West Coast ports tomorrow morning, and soil for Welliugton and South by thc same tide at 7 am. The Wanaka leaves Wellington at 1 p.m. on Monday, will arrive here on Tuesday morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 930 a in. Thcsieamer Beautiful Star, bound from Westport to Lyttelton witb coal, was passed hy the Murray afc thc French Pass this morning. Tbe Murray left Wellington at 7 o'clock Jast night, and experienced strong westerly ■winds with heavy sea while crossing the Straits, arriving hero at 11 a.m. to-day. She sails for West Coast ports afc 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The barque Elecfcra is now 1 1 2 days out from London, and therefore should show up shortly. The Reward was (owed to sea by the Tainui Inet night. Her destination is Waitapu, there to load with timber for Lyttelton. The Penguin left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on Monday, and had fine weather to arrival at Lyttelton on Tuesday nt 10 a.m; sailed game day at 6 p.m., aud had strong head winds to arrival at Wellington ou Wednesday afc 10 a.m., left at 3 p.m yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 7-30 p.m ; sailed afc 9 30 p.m., and arrived here at 6 a.m. to-day. She brings a large cargo and 102 passengers, principally volunteers, for this port. The Penguin sails for Wellington, Taranaki, ml Manukau with the outward San Francisco mail, at 6 o'clock to-night.
