Passengers: Misses Cross, Lines, Mrs and Miss Pillet, Mrs Watts, Mrs Seccombe, Messrs Byrne, Watts, M'Gee, M'Cleary, Hammorton, Green, Blackett, Flemiug, Pilliett, Fathers, and Stone (2).

The Kennedy arrived at Greymouth from Hokitika to-day. Tho Charles Edward left Westport for Nelson afc noon to-day. The Hawea left New Plymouth at 8 a.m. yesterday, end arrived heie at 10 o'clock last ui^'ht. The Murray arrived at Westport from Nelson this morning, and leaves there for Hokitika to-niffht. The Wanaka uf. Wellington |at 1 o'clock to-day, will arrive here to-morrow morning, aud sail for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at 11; o'clock. ' .' Greafc preparations, are being made ' at Lyttelton for the grain season. The New Zealand Shipping Company aunounce a fleet of eighteen irou vessels, representing an aggregate tonnnge of 30,000. Royse, Stead and Co. also publish a list of nine shipsto sail for the United Kingdom or Continent as desired, and Shaw, Savill and Co. will have five vessels laid on ; these together will give 50,000 tons.
