AUSTRALIANS V. CHRISTCHURCH. Christchurch, Monday. At the match to-day Murdoch made 111 runs, and was in a little over four hours. Slight made 45, not out ; Boyle 32 ; Blackham 38 ; Tobin 31 ; J.arvis and Alexander 0 ; and Palmer 3. The innings closed at 5.30 for 323 runs. About eleven thousand persons were present.
