Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed' article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, whioh are se forth in a -separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength,' practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' race's of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate ahd agreeable aroma, and a pnre and mild taste. Mr Hast's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purifled,"ahd is quite" genuine." Bir,—l hava the honor ;to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by yon tb me has been submitted to a searching chemical tnalysis and critical examination, the result if which" enables me to statff that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come' <2nder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other Injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye groin, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very omooth to the palate, and in this respect Compaq s favourably with other samples offered for Mle. It may bo advised as equally) suitablo for medical or economic purposes.
