Passengers: Misses Scaly, Collins, Loubere, Messrs Joner-, Sutherland, Wilson, Herbert, Thompson, and Manson. The Charles Edward lefc for West Coast ports at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The Wallace leaves Greymouth for Nelson direct to-day. The Kennedy leaves Greymouth for Westport and Nelson to-d.y. The Murray arrived from West Coa*t porta this morning, and leaves for Wanganui at noon to-morrow. The Grafton leaves hero for West Coast ports on Monday. The Hawea left Wellington at noon today, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranalti and Manukau at 3 p m. The Wanaka crossed tho Manukau bar at 2-30 p.m. yesterday. Sho ie expected to arrive here to-nifjht, and i.. announced to sail for Picton, Wellington, and LytteUon shortly after arrival. The Rotorua leaves Auckland for Sydney on Tuesday. Passengers will be forwarded to her by the Hawea to-morrow. The harbor has been almost destitute of shipping during the last few daya, aud consequently there has been but little business doing at, the Port. The Anazi, now due from London, is anxiously looked for by lumpers and othera who depend upon work on tho wharf for a living. A Brisbane telegram of Nov. 23rd saya :— A serious fracas occured last night between the police and a number of sailors of the barque Ramsey. The sailors were creating a disturbance, when the police endeavored (o arrest them. The sailors then went on board and returned armed with knives, belayifif? pins, and a pistol. One policeman was hors de combat, and the rest had their uniforms torn. Four sailors were arrested, and are now before (he police court. Civi liana were obliged to assist the police.
