Hakt. We have subjected a sample* of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination, The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate ; report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of ,'Bolid 1 matter in solution. It possesses ; a delicate and agreeable oroma, and a pure ahd mild- taßte. Mr Hart's , Schiedam Schnapps is a yery superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. ' - ! ;Sir,— l have the honor ;to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded jby you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the- result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under J my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ls - absolutely free'from-any trace of fupil: or other 1 injurious impurity, and haß evidently been dißtilled from superior rye grain, always; used instead of malt in the production of tho I choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very 1 smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for dale.
