THE AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN'S VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND.

Sir,— ln reply to "Cricketer's" letter of last evening, I beg to state that I have communicated with the agent in Dunedin with a view of arranging preliminaries for a visit to Nelson of the Australian Eleven, and should the arrangements be satisfactory to the Committee of the Nelson Cricket Club it is intended shortly to call a meeting of all persons interested in- cricket to take into consideration the best meanß of entertaining the Eleven should Nelson be so fortunate as to receive a visit from them.— Youri, &c, Philip Topliss, Hon.
