London, November 29. The sculling match between Trickett and Ross came off to-day. The former won by four boats' lengths, but owing to fouling they have been ordered to row again. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 52a ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 36s ; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, 5s 6d. The other markets are unchanged. At the wool sales to-day, 8,800 bales were offered, making a total of 45,700 catalogued since the opening. The tone of the bidding to-day was irregular. November 30. Laycock and Hanlon have now agreed to pull a match for the championship for £500 a side. Mr Shaw Lefeyre has been appointed Chief Commissioner of Public Works in the place of Mr W. P. Adam, who has been appointed Governor of Madras. G. O. Trevelyan succeeds Shaw Lefevre as Secretary to the Admiralty. Tbe .Land League agitation in Ireland continues to receive considerable support in many parts, and numbers of new members are being enrolled. At Kildyiart alone during the last few days over 1000 persons have joined the League.
