NELSON LAND BOARD.

The Board met yesterday. PresentCommissioners Barnicoat, Bird, Sharp, and Chief Commissioner Greenfield. Prospecting Licenses. — An application received from F. W. Irvino for a license over 200 acres in the Wakapu tka district was granted for six months. Licenss No. 95 renewed to F. W. Irvine for six .months from Ist December naxt. Occupation Licenses. — Application rectived from Messrs Smith and Fanatti for a license of 2000 acres, 12 miles above the junction of the Mangles with the Buller. Resolved, That the boundaries are not sufficiently defined, and that the applicants be requested to forward a sketch plan and fuller description. An application reoeived from Mathew Ryan far a license over country lying between the Grey River and the 14 Mile Creek, Nerth Beach, was considered/Resolved, That the license be refuted. Land assessed for leasing under appendix Eof the "Land Act 1877." Sectien 60 Takaka at 10 . per acre.
