There was a large eougrrgatiou, the building being crowded in every part. We undfrstand that n subscription list lies at Mr Edwards' store in Bridge Btrfet for the assistance of the young widow of the poor fellow Josiah Giblin who was accidentally killed on Thursday last. Any small contributions will be thankfully received. A report of the cricket match played at Wflkefield ou Saturday will be found on the fourth page. Mr Harley, one of the candidates for the Mayoralty, will address the electors at the Provincial Hall at 8 o'clock this evening. The Divorce Court sits at Wellington today, and there are seven cases set down for hearing, four being from Dunedin, one from Chrisichurcb,one from Wellington, and one from Auckland. Special attention is called to the pricelist of the Rodauow Manufacturing Co., of Boston, U.S.A., published in these columns.
