A box with £5000 in gold consigned to the Bank of New Zealand is missing from the steamship Tararua which arrived yesterday. It is thought possible that it has been left at the Dunedin wbarf. The Tararua's cargo was transhipped from the Hawea. Adklaide, Sunday. The Orient Company's steamer Sorata has been safely floated at Cape Jervis. Monday. The Sorata has been brought to the Semaphore and will ultimately proceed to Melbourne. Sydney, Sunday. The sculling match between W. Trickett and Rush took place yesterday on the Paramatta River when Rush won easily by three lengths. The betting was 5 to 4on Trickett.
