Nov. 11, schooner Richard and Mary, 44, Hamilton, for Wanganui. — steamer Lyttelton, BG, Scott, fcr Blenheim. Nov. 12, steamer Penguin, 440, Malcolm, for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Pos sengers: Misses Ashton and MfKeniie, Mesdames Oldham, Bolton, and Bridper, Messrs Askew, Engel, Laird, Shaw, Campbell, Bolton, Beck, Oldham, R. Henderson, and Atkinson. The Lyttelton sailed for Blenheim la&t evening The Charles Edward left We. .port last evening, will arrive to morrow morning, and leave again for Wellington direct at 4 p tn. The schooner Sisters is announced to sail for Havelock to-morrow. The Richard nnd Mary sailed for Wanganui last nighfc with a cago of coal The Murray leaves Greymouth this evening and Westport to morrow morning, arriving here on Sunday morning. The Wallace arrived from Wellington Ibis morning, and is announced to sail, for West Coast ports on Monday morning. The Penguin arrived at tbe outer anchorage last night, and came into harbor at 2.30 this morning. She left Onehunga on Wednesday at 2.50 p.m., cleared Manukau Heads at 4 p.m., and arrived off Taranaki yeftetdsy at 6 a.m.; left again at 9 am., had strong bead winds aud very heavy sea abeam wbile crossing the Straits, and arrived here as above. After landing and shippiuc a few tons of cargo, she sailed for Picton, Wellington, and LytteUon by tbe same tide at 445 a.m. Tbe reason of her being despatched so hurriedly was owing to her baying been timed to reach Wellington to-night, and Lyttelton to-morrow. The Wanaka arrived in harbor at 4 a.m. tc-dav, haviDg lef fc Port Chalmers on Monday, Lyttelton on Tuesday, and Wellington at 12.45 p.m yesterday ; Picton was reached at 5.30 p.m., and two hours later she proceeded ou to Nelson, arriving here as above Fine weather was experienced throughout the trip. She sails for Taranaki and Manuka n at 4 p.m. The Hawea is undergoing an overhaul in the dock at Port Chalmers. She leaves there on Monday for Northern ports, arriving here on Friday. The tonnage loading on the berth at London on September 9th, for India, China, and the Cape of Good Hope amounted to 57,146 tons, and for Australia and New Zealand to 54,976 tons.
