The Charles Edward is Btill detained at Greymouth by heavy weather. The Grafton Tb reported bs being outside Greymouth but unable to enter. ; The Murray arrived at Wellington last night, aud leave's for Nelson this evening. She proceeds to Wanganui, at 5 p.m. to-mor-row. The Lyttelton left Blenheim yesterday afternoon, and is expected here to-night. She is announced for Wellington to-morrow. The Patea, with a cargo of live stock, arrived from Palea tbis morning. She returns to that port again this afternoon. The Lady Barkly sailed- for Golden Bay. yesterday afternoon. The A lbiou arrived from Melbourne via West Coast ports at 7 o'clock last night, and railed for Wellington and Dunedin at 7 30 a.m. to day. The Taiaroa left New Plymouth at 6 o'clock this morning, having been unable to communicate with the shore. She will arrive here tonight, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 9 30 a.m. tomorrow. The Penguin leaves Wellington at noon to-morrow, willjirrive here on Friday morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at 3 1 30 a.m. on Saturday, with the outward 'Frisco mail. The Hawea arrived from Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 6 o'clock last night, : Fhe left Lyttelton at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Wellington at noon on. Monday, and Picton nt 9p.m. same day. On reaching Jackson's Head a terrific gale was blowing, and as the ' night' was pitch dark, thereby rendering the navigation of the vessel a matter of extreme difficulty, Captain Kennedy canie.'.to.'an; anchor for the night; at 10 a.m. yesterday! proceeded on to. Nelsou, arriying;here asabove. Owing to the boisterous weather last night the Hawea's departure was ppst- : ported until 7 o'clock this morning, when "ahe sailed for Picton, Wellington,"and South. On her arrival at Port Chalmers she willbe docked, the Wanaka taking her place next trip. ' .
