No confirmatory intelligence has been received regarding the reported anarchy in Cabul and murder of the Ameer. The postal service between Cabul and the frontier has failed for a week, and no despatches have been received during that time. London, October 26. Severe storms with heavy rain have been experienced in many parts of England, and a large extent of the low lying country is flooded. Vienna, Oclober 28. Baron Daumerle, the Austrian Mini&ter for Foreign Affairs, made a, speech to-day, ia the course of which he said tbat a complete understanding exists between bis Government and that of Germany in regard to the policy to be pursued in south-east Europe, and they would act in common for the settlement of the questions now pending.
