IMPERIAL Da. Habsall : 8 Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Eolborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam : Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the snalyils, which are no forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of eolid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fu?il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently becc distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is verj smooth to the palate, and in. this respect comparts favourably with other samples offtrsG for «ale. It may ba advised as, equally^ suitable for medical or economic purposes.
