'I he undermentioned lands were assessed ' for sale at 1 0s per acre : — Sections 31,30,51,' and 61 Moutere Bluffs. ; The undermentioned lands were assessed for leasing:— Section 37, block IX, Opnrara, los per acre; section I, block XI IT, Ma wheranui, 25s per acre; sections 76 and 78, block I, Wai-iti, 10a per acre; section 1, block X, Ahaura, 20a per acre. An application was leceived from Mr Merick Jones to be allowed to lease one sec- '■ tion only instead of two, for which the lease had been prepared. Resolved, That Mr Jones be allowed to lease section No 2 upon payment for the two leases at 30s each. An application wa& received from George Thomas to be allowed to occupy the public ! reserve at Thorpe, section 29, containing one acre two roods. Resolved, That he be allowed to occupy the reserve, subject to three months notice to quit, at a rental of five shillings per annum, payable in advance. Mineral Leasbs Granted. Venus Company, section 1, block XV, 10 acres, rent £10 per annum. Golden Eleece Company, section 2, block XV, 10 acres, rent £10 per auuuin.
