The Patea saiied for Patea via Wellington last nisht. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay yesterday afternoon. Tho Murray arrived from the W*st Coast thia morning, aud returns there,' at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tl-e Charles Edwavd. reached Greymouth tn-day, and leaves at noon to-morrow for "Wrstport. The Taiaroa left Wellington at noon to-day, will arrive here 'to-morrow morning, and anil for Taranslci and Manukau by the same tide at noon, carrying the outgoing San Francisco mail. She calls at Wellington for the purpose of picking up the Southern portion of the mail, and will land passengers ouly there. The Victorian Government have decided to sell the Pharos, and reduce the naval expenses. The services of Captain Fullarton tire to be dispensed with.
