London, October 5. Further details of the scheme proposed by the Porte to the Great Powers have now transpired for the settlement of the difficulty between Turkey nnd Greece. The Ottoman Government offers to cede to Greece the frontiers to the south of Janinain Epirus,'and LarissainThessaly, but the towns themselves are not to be included in the ceded territory as required by the supplementary Berlin Conference. The death of M, Offenbach, the well-known Erench musical composer, is announced today. Tbe deceased was 61 years of nge. The Australian cricketers left England today for the Continent, where they will spend a few days, aDd then proceed to Suez, and leavo that port by tbe P. and 0. steamer on the 15th for Melbourne and Sydney.
