The Chprles Edward sailed for West C > tst ports shortly nfter noon to-day. The Murray leaves for Wanganui at, six o'clock to«oight. . -■■■'- The Patea sails for Patea via Wellington at fi p.m. to-morrow. The, Graf ton is expected to arrive here from West Coast ports' on' Thursday morning. , ( The Croydon Lass arrived from Kaiapoi this morning with a cargo of potatoes. The Syren hauled to the Albion Wharf this morning, where she will discharge the remainder of her coal. The Albion left Lyttelton for Nelson direct at 5 15 p.m. yesterday, will arrive here to-night, and sailfor West Coast ports, Newca«Me, and Melbourne at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Wauaka will make the Northern trip this week as usual, and not the Wellington as was reported by us yesterday. The quickest passage from Australia has been made by tbe Liguria, which delivered the mail in London in 32 days from Adelaide. The Hawea left Lyttetton on Saturday night, and arrived at Wellington on Sunday afternoon ; sailed at 12 30 p.m. yesterday, and reached Picton at 6 p.m. ; left at 940 p.m , ami arrived here at 7-30 a.m. to-day. She sailed for Picton, Wellington, and South by tbe same tide at 1030 a.m. The City of, Sydney, with the inward San Francisco mail, arrived at Auckland yestertUv afternoon two days in advance of her lim3. The trip, however, has occupied the lull number of days stipulated by the contract, she haviug left San Francisco two days before her contract date. The Taiaroa, with, the Southern portion of the mail, left Onehunga at 8 o'clock this morning.; She (h)uld arrive here during to-roorrow, and is announced to sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton shortly after arrival.
