Capt. Edwin reports at 1.30 p.m. :— " Bad weather approaching ; any direction between north-east and north aud west, and falling glass." The Wallace leaves for her monthly trip to Okarito and the Sounds .on Wednesday morning. The Murray arrived here last evening from the West Coast, and leaves on the return trip at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The Cbarles Edward left Greymouth this mnrning, and leaves Westport to-night, arriving here to-morrow night. Sbe sails for Wellington at 2 p.m. on Monday. The Wanaka leaves Wellington at noon on Monday, will arrive here on Tuesday morning, aad sail for Picton, Wellington, and Souih at 1 p.m. same day. The Wakatu should arrive here from Wanganui to-morrow morning. She saila for Wanganui and Wellington on Monday w at 8 p.m. The Kennedy is being repaired as speedily as possible, and ere long we hope to see this ueeful steamer again in commission. The Ha\vea sailed for Taranaki and Manukau nfe noon to-day, carrying the outward San Francisco mail. She calls at Wellington for the purpose of picking up the Southern portion of the mail. The brig Niagara, bound for Newcastle, was towed to sea by the Murray thia afternoon. The Rotomahana, which conveyed the Governor and family to Sydney, had an unusual number of passengers. Both the saloon and steerage were full, and about thirty berths had to be fitted up in the hold for steerage passengers. Tbe Rangatira makes the thirtieth Bteamer lost in New Zealand waters, the first being in 1857. .
