IMPERIAL SCHIEMIJCHMPPg. Dr. Habsall'b Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial .Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected & sample of the abovenamed article to a very careiul chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and ,that it contains but' raceß of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps I is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. Bart, Esq. ; Sir,— l have the honor ;to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical, analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to. state that itisttje, Finest Sample of 'Schnapps! that as!yet come., under my, notice.' It has a pure fragrant Odour, and ls absolutely free from any trace. of 'fusil or other Ihjuribu* impurity, and has evidently ''been. distilled from superior rye ,'graln,' always used , instead of malt in the 1 production .of the choioast qualities of Schnapps/ It is very smooth to tho palate, and in thi» respect comparts favourably with other samples offered for dale.
