Glass will show further fall." ; The' Lady Barkly returned from her weekly visit to (Jdlden Bay last night. The; Murray reached Westport yesterday afternoon, and Hokitika this afternoon. The Charles Edward arrived at Wellington this morning, and leaves for Nelson this evening. She proceeds to the West Coast on Sunday morning at 7 o'clock. The Patea will arrive here from Patea to-to-morrow morning, and sail for. the same port during the day. ■' The Wakfitu is expected to arrive here to-morrow tnorninsr. ■ She is announced to Bail for Wanganui and Wellington the same day." -" ; The Grafton arrived in harbor last night, after a smart passage from Westport. She sailed for Wellington and Lytlelton by the same tide. The Hawea. with the San Francisco mail, left New Plymouth at 11 o'clock tbis morning, will arrive here to-night, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton by the same tide at midnight. . The Taiaroa arrived from Southern ports at 10 30 a.tn to-day, having left Wellington at 4 p.m r yesterday, and Picton at 11 o'clock last night. : She sailed for Taranaki aud Manuk.au by the same tide at 145 p.m. The fares by the Claud Hamilton and other steamers running between Melbourne and Sydney, a distance of 500 miles, are, saloon £1, steerage 10s. There is some difference betweeu these and the charges on the New Zealand coast;
