Beport on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We .have subjected a sample of the abpvenamed article to a very careiul chemical analysis and examination. ' The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that t\Ai spirit is of good strength, practically ;frc. fi'om acidity, and that it cont'_,inß.))ut' races of solid matter in solution. It possesses s delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure 'and mild taßte. Mr! Bir,— l have the honor ;to report for yom Information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mc has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is) the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ls absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injuriouf Impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye grain,' always used instead of malt in the production of; the ohdieast qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to tbe palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally} suitable for medical or economic purposes.
