BAII.ED. Ang. 23, cutter Goldseeker, 12, Watts, for Havelock — steamer Wakatu, 78, Evans, for Wanganui and Welington. — ketch Prospect, 21, Westrupp, for Croixelles. 24, steamer Wanaka, 276, M'Gillivray, for Picton, Wellington, and South. Passengers: Messrs J. R. Dodson, H. Dodson, Dyson, Teschemokpr and son, Irvine, Good, Donald, Pollock, Garland Fox, Rose. — steamer Lyttelton, 86, Scott, for Blenheim.
The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Biy at 6 o'clock to-night. The Wakatu sailed for Wanganui and Wellington last night. The Lyttelton sailed for Blenheim at 2 p.m. to-day. The Wallace leaves Greymouth for Hokitika to-nighfc. The Charles Edward leaves Westport tonight for Nelson. She will arrive here tomorrow evening, and sail for Wellington on Thursday at 7 p m. The Kennedy arrived from Greymouth this morniug, and will go on the gridiron for repairs. The Murray leffc Wellington at 6 o'clock this morning, is expected hero this evening, and will sail for West Coast ports to-morrow at 2 p.m. The signal for a topsail schooner has been flying all the day. She will probably turn oufc to be the Janette from Lyttelton. The Australia, with the San Francisco mail, is nofc yet reported as having arrived at Auckland. The Hawea brings down the Southern portion of the mail. The Victoria finished discharging to-doy. She haa a few tons of potatoes to ship, and will probably proceed to the outer anchorage to-morrow morning. The Wanaka left LytteUon at 9 p.m. on Saturday, and reached Welliugtou at 3 pm. on Sunday; sailed afc 130 p.m. yesterday, and arrived afc Picton afc 630 p.m.; leffc afc 11 p.m., reaching here at 8 a.m. to-day. Experienced rough weather during the passage across the Straits. She sailed for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 10-30 a.m. Tbe ketch Forest Queen, accord to latest advices, still lies on the beach at Waitara but so far as is known she is uninjured, Captain Bendall, the surveyor for tbe under, writers, expects to bave her launched as soon as the heavy sea goes down.
