ARRIVED.
Aug. 18, ketch Camelia, 19, Charles, from Motupipi. — cutter Goldseeker, 12, Watts, from Havelock. — schooner Dido, 56, Johnston, from Oamaru--19, cutter Dart, 12, Ricketts, from Waikawa. SAILED. Aug. 18, steamer Wallace, 86, Palmer, for West Coast. — cutter Maid of Italy, 15, Clarke, for Biwaka.
Captain Edwin reported at noon :— -"Glass will show further fall, but rise again after 12 hours with' heavy gale." The Kennedy was successfully floated yesterday, and will leave Greymouth for Nelson to-morrow. The Wallace sailed at 7 # 30 last evening for West Coast ports. The Murray left Westport last evening, and was coming up the bay when we went to press. She leaves for Wellington at 5 p.m. to-morrow. The Lyttelton left Blenheim for Nelson yesterday, and will return there on Saturday. The Charles Edward was unable, through heavy sea, to leave Hokitika this morning, but expects to sail for Greymouth to-mor-row morning. The Wakatu will arrive here on Saturday morning, and sail for Wanganui and Wellington the same day. The Hawea Mt Wellington at noon today, will arrive her to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at 6 p.m. The Wanaka will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton by the same tide at 8 a.m. The topsail schooner signalled yesterday proved to.be the Dido; from Oamaru, with a cargo of flour for Mr R. Levieh. She came into harbor last night, and commenced discharging this morning. The Grafton leaves Wellington to-night, will arrive here to morrow morning, and sail for Westport and Greymouth at 3 p.m., forwarding passengers to Okarito. Tbe next steamer for Melbourne will be the Rotorua, leaving Welliugton on Monday. Passengers for her will be forwarded by the Wanaka to-morrow.
