After the same has been held General Stewart with the British troops remaining i in the neighborhood of Cabul will retire to I Gundamuk. News comes to hand from Candahar which shows that the British garrison in the citadel is not althogether inactive. General Primrose has lately sent out several parties of skirmishers who have made successful attacks on villages of hostile tribes in the districts around Candahar. Intelligence has been received that Cabul is now completely evacuated by the British troops. Everything was quiet in the city on the departure of the troops. News has also' been received that General Roberta' relieving force which left Cabul on Monday is advancing towards Candahar without meeting with any opposition. Berlin, August 12. A meeting has taken place at Ischl between the Emperors of Germany and Austria, when their Majesties discussed the present aspect of affairs in Eastern Europe. It is understood that their interview gives hope of a peaceful settlement of questions now regairiDg adjustment.
