Melbourne, Monday. Mr Berry has submitted the following list of the new Ministry to the Governor : — Mr Berry Premier and Chief Secretary ; Mr Smith Minister for Education; Mr Patterson ; Minister for Railways ; Mr W. M. K. Vale, Treasurer or Attorney - General ; Mr R. Richardson Minister for Lands; Mr Laugridge Minister for Public Works ; Mr H. R. Williams Minister for Mines ; Mr A. T. Clarke Commieioner of Customs. The other portfolios are not yet filled. Later. Professor Pearson and Mr Robert D. Dreed, member of the Legislative Council, will join Mr Berry's Ministry without portfolios. Sailed-— Rotorua for Buff. A verdiot of temporary insanity was found in the case of Green who shot hia wife and a Frenchman in a fit of jealousy,
