Melbourne, Wednesday. The Governor, on receiving the address in reply to his opening speech, expressed his regret that reference was made to the motion carried on Friday regarding the vote of want of confidence, sis being unconstitutional. Mr Service has resigned, and Mr Berry has been summoned to form a new Ministry. The Assembly passed supplies and adjourned until Tuesday. Arrived: Rotorua, from tbe Bluff. Sailed: •Albion, for Bluff, yesterday. Thursday. The Age to-day criticises adversely the Governor's remarks regarding the reference in tbe address in reply to the motion passed on Friday re the vote of no confidence. Mauritius, July 16. Sailed— Kate Leitham for Melbourne with 350 tons of sugar. Sydney, Wednesday. Arrived — Wakatipu from Wellington. The. rush which has taken place to Temora still continues, but there is no water, and at present it is mostly stacking.
