TBefore H. E. Curtis and J. Sclanders, Esqs., J.J.P.] Hingston v. J. Jenner. — Action to recover £9 2s sd, amount of dishonored acceptance. Judgment for amount claimed and costs. Black v. Gundry. — Actiou to recover £3 for goods supplied. Mr Bunny, for the defendant, admitted the debt, for which judgment was given with costs. Hingston v. Thorburn. — Action to recover £1 2s sd, balance of accoant due.| Judgment for amount and costs £1 9s. There was a set off, which was not allowed. Mr Bunny appeared for the plaintiff. W. Groom, J. G. Denne, J. Sbarland, and J. W. Packer were charged with allowing horses to stray in the streets, aud were fined 5s each and costs. W. Norris and Michael Thompson were charged with using threatening behaviour in the streets. This, it must be explained, is the technical phrase for fighting. The offence was admitted, and defendants were fined 10s each and costs 7s, or in default 48 hours' imprisonment with hard labor.
