Hart. We have eiißjected a sample of the abovenaniad article to a very careful oheaiical ac'alysis and oxaniiiiatlon. The results of the Rnalyniß, which are ac forth in a aoparate report shovr that this' spirit 1 is of good strength, practically free from acidity, End that it. contains but* races of solid matter in solution. It possesses a 'delicate and egreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's SnMedam Schnapps is a very superior article ot its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor |to report for yoar information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me haßbien submitted to a Bearchjtag ch'emicfcl analyßi's and dritfcal examinaiion, the re'ettlfc of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Samplaoi Schnapps that as yet cbnis undor my notice. ■' It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or oth^r injurious impurity, and haß evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used iantesd of malt in tbe production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps, It is vaily smooth to th.c palate, and in this respect cornpar; s favourably with other samples offered foraale.
