MelbotjrkjS, Monday. Ned Kelly was again brought up at the Police Court and remanded. Parliament was opened by the Governor, the Marquis of Normanby, who in his speech on the occasion referred to the decrease in the revenue, and hoped that a satisfactory solution would be arrived at of the question of thereform of the constitution. He announced that measures would be introduced with regard to railways, water conservation, and the amendment of the land laws.
