Tbe Wakatu sails for Wangauui and Wellingtou at 8 o'clock to-night. The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Bay at 8 o'clock to-night. The Graf ton leaves Wellington to-morrow for Nelson and West Coast ports. The Victoria was towed to the outer anchorage by the Lady Barkly this afternoon. The Lyttelton leaves Blenheim for Nelson to-day. The Charles Edward left Wellington at one o'clock this morning, will arrive here to-night, and sail for Wellington at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Wallace arrived from Wanganui this morning, and leaves for the West Coast tomorrow at 6 p.m. From Hokitika she proceeds to the Sounds, the contract for the service of which was recently obtained by the Anchor Line of steamers. The Taiaroa left Wellington at noon today, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Wellington, Taranaki, and Manukau, with the£ outward San Francisco mail, at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Patea arrived from Patea this morning, and returns to the same port to-night. The Richard and Mary is now nfc Oamaru loading with wheat for Messrs Griffin and Son. She will probably leave there for. Nelson on Saturdny. The captain of the brigautine Ethel which arrived at Timaru from Newcastle a day or two ago, reported sighting a floating body in Cook Strait. The Hawea arrived here at 11*20 p.m. yesterday. She left Onehuuga at 1130 a.m. on Tuesday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 645 a.m. yesterday, landed moils, passeugers and 40 tons of cargo, |and proceeded on to Nelson at 10 a.m., arriving here as above. Fine weather was experienced throughout the passage. The Hawca sailed for Pictou, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 1 p/n to-day.
