ARRIVED.
July 6, steamer Lady Barkly, 30, Walker from Golden Bay. — steamer Kennedy, 136, Dillon, from West Coast. — schooner Waiotahi, 16, Robinson, from Havelock.
The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay tbis afternoon. The Wakatu sails for Wanganui and Wellington this afternoon. ... The Awaroa is loading with coal for Wanganui. The Lyttelton left Blenheim yesterday for Nelson. „ All the vessels in harbor had their flags half-mast high to-day, as a mark of respect to the late Captain Fietersen of the Taiaroa. The Wellington leaves Onehunga to-day,, will arrive here to-morrow night, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 9*30 a.m. on Thursday. The Wallace sails for Wellington direct at 6 o'olock this evening, leaving there for Nelson to-morrow evening. . •- • The Charles Edward crossed the Hokitika bar this morning, and will, leave there tomorrow morning if smooth. The bars both at Greymouth and Hokitika are in a dangerous state. The Kennedy arrived from West. Coast this afternoon,"and leaveß on the return trip on Thursday at noon.. The Murray arrived off Hokitika this morning, transhipped her cargo for tbat port into the Charles Edward, and reaohed Greymouth the same tide. The Grafton will not call at Nelson this trip, having proceeded from Wellington to Westport direct. She is reported off Greymouth, but at present is unable to cross the har. The Wanaka was compelled to put back to Wellington yesterday afternoon, being unable to face the heavy gale raging outside. She made another start at noon to-day, will arrive here to morrow morning, and sail for . Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 9 15 a m. The Victoria was towed into harbor hy the Wakatu this morning, and berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf, where she commenced discharging during the day. The Dido is making rather a long passage from Oamaru, there heing as yet no signs of her. Probably the bad weather which haa heeh experienced lately has detained her.
