Passengers: Rev. Grace, Mrs Lomax, Messrs Bayley, M'Farlane, and 3 in the steerage, SAILED. June 30, ketch Camelia, 19, Charles, for Motupipi. — cuter Wave, 10, Ricketts, for Torrent Bay. July 1, steamer Charles Edward, 125, Whitwell, for West Coast. — steamer Wanaka, 276, M'Gillivray, for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Passen- ; gers: Mrs Saunders and 2 children, Mrs Priest, Master Paul, Messrs Priest, Mackay, Fletcher, Lightband, Paul, Honeywill, and Engel.
The Kennedy was unable to leave Hokitika for Greymouth to-day on account of heavy sea and wind. The Charles Edward left for the Weßt Coast ports at 8.30 this morning. The Murray arrived from Wanganui this morning, and is announced .for tbe West Coast ports at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Wallace leaves Wellington for Nelson this evening, and sails for Wanganui tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Richard and Mary left Wanganui on Saturday for Oamaru, where she loads with wheat for Nelson. The Wellington leaves Wellington this afternoon, wili arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at 4 p.m.. The Albion should arrive here to-morrow afternoon. She is announced to return to Melbourne via West Coast ports and Newcastle at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Dido experienced a northerly gale shortly after leaving Oamaru, and after hammering ngainsfc it for five days without making much headway she put into Lyttelton for sheter on Sunday last. The next steamer for Sydney will be the Arawata, which leaves Auckland on Tuesday. Passengers will be conveyed to her by the Wellington to-morrow. The Wanaka, with the San Francisco mail, arrived in harbor early this morning. She left Onehunga at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, and reached New Plymouth at 4 a.m. yesterday; landed mails, passengers, and cargo, and proceeded on to Nelson at noon, arriving here as above. The Wanaka sailed for Picton, Wellington, aud Lyttelton this afternoon The signals for a barque and a topsail schooner have' been flying all the day. Ths former is supposed to be the Chaudiere from London, and she had nearly reached the outer anchorage when we went to press; the . latter will probably prove to be the Awaroa from Wanganui.
