Wanganui and Wellington at 9 p.m. ;:: -^ ... „_ — The Lyttelton leaves-"for Blenheim at 4 p.m. to-morrow. ..•'.•'.'.' The Kennedy sailed for West Coast ports this afternoon. The Murray arrived from West Coast ports yesterday, and sails at 9 o'clock to-night for Wariganui. The Charles Edward arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, and is announced to sail for West Coast ports to morrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. * The Hawea left Wellington at noon today, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South by the snme tide at noon. The Wellington takes the place of the Taiaroa this trip. She leaves Port Chalmers to-day, and will arrive here on Eriday. The Zealandia, with the San Francisco mail was due at Auckland on Saturday, but we have not yet heard of her arrival there. The Wanaka brings down the Southern portion cf the mail. The whole of.the steamers of the Anchor Line were in harbor yesterday and to-day, an occurrence which/is worthy of recording, inasmuch as they have not been in port together for a number of years. The trial trip of :the Wallace on Saturday afternoon was pre-eminently satisfactory. ■ She left the wharf shortly before three o'clock, and proceeded outside the Boulder Bank, when the patent feathering floats with which, she has recently beeu fitted were thoroughly tested, and found to work snqoothly, ..besides propelling, the steamer along at a faster rate than was the case when the common floats. were used. A large number of ladies and gentlemen took advantage of the fine day to have a spin in the Wallace, and expressed themselves highly delighted with the trip. , Her old and popular commander, Captain Palmer, has again taken charge of her. She sails for Wellington at 8 o'clock to-morrow night.
