Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen, Esq., J.P., at Sandhurst, October, 1877 : — The son of Mr Raabe was hurt with an axe on the knee. After nine weeks' medical treatment it was declared necescary by Dr. Macgillivray to amputate tbe injured limb. At that juncture the extract was applied, and the wound speedily cured without amputation. The daughter of Mr Jungbenn, suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Dra AtkinßOn and Boyd, was cufel just as speedily. Cures of wnooping cough, very severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diptheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia), inflammation of the eyes and that of a severely injured foot ; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with enormous swelling^ ot severe brnises and a sprained ankle, (H. Brown), in which case eight months' medical advice was of no avail, are reported by the " Donald Times," " Newcastle Morning Herald," " Cooktown Courier," " Yorke'a Peninsula Advertiser/ and others^ The extract inwardly taken, regtfates the action of the kidneys, cures dyeentry and diarihoea, and is the surest curative agent and preventive of contagion in scarlet, typhoid and intermittent fever. Other turpentine-like preparations of the gubj styled ■* Eucalypti Oil," are most dangerous, in consequence oi their nature, for most of the diseases our extract is recommended for.
