' We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article tb a very careful chemical analysis and examination, ! Therpsultsof the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' racesof solid matter in solution, lt possesses ja delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Sir,— l have the honor, ;to report for your ioformation that .the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been . submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of wbich enables me to state that it is tne Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice.. , It bas a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fiml or oth^r injurious impurity, and has evidently beep distilled from. superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of tno choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is yeijy smooth to the palate, and in this respect cpnipans favourably with other samples offered for dale. It, may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
