London, May 31. Consols, 99|. New Zealand Securities, Five Per Cent Loan, 103J; Four and a Half, 98£; Five Per Cent 1889 Loan, 102$, ex dividend. At the wool sale to-day, 6,300 bales were offered, making a total of 324,000 catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale was firm. The Government have decided to increase the amount to be advarced from the church funds for the relief of the distress in Ireland to £l,5op;6oo. June 1. News has been received from Rangoon, that, owing to the disaffected state into which B'urmah has been plunged through the excesses of the King, the whole country is now in open rebellion. The outbreak is increasing, and has already extended to Mandalay, where the British Resident was formerly stationed.
