At the eighteenth annual meeting of the Nelson Permanent Building Society held last night, a satisfactory report and balancesheet were produced, and a dividend of eight per cent, has as usual been added to the deposits. The following directors were elected : — Messrs P. Cooke, H. V. Gully, 11. Hounsell and P. Topliss for three yeafrj, and Messrs Eiuney and Moorhouse for one year.
