May 19, steamer LytteltoD, 86, Scott, from Blenheim. BAILED. May 19, ketch Camelia, 19, Charles, for Motupipi. — steamer Lady Barkly, SO, Walker, for Motueka. — sctioorier'Croydon Lass, 51, Curran, for Lyttelton via Waitapu.
Captain Edwin telegraphed as follows at 1 p.m. : — "Bad weather approaching ; same indications as yesterday. Glass will fall again soon." The Lady Barkly leaves oh her weekly trip to Golden Bay at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Kennedy may be expected to arrive from Wellington to morrow morning. The Charles Edward Js still detained at Hokitika by heavy sea.ahd strong flood. The Lyttleton arrived from Blenheim this afternoon, and returns to the same port at 7 o'clock to-morrow evening. The Murray reached the wharf at Wanganui this morning, and, weather permitting, will leave on the return, this Afternoon. A telegram from Lyttelton informs us that the Emerald arrived there yesterday from Anahau. ■ '• -' The Hawea arrived at Wellington at 9 30 a.m. to-day, and leaves there for Lyttelcon at 1 p.m. - ' The Croydon Lass sailed for Waitapu today. She loads there with timber for Lyttelton. The. Wakatu was compelled to return to Wanganui this morning, in consequence of meeting with bad weather. She leaves there again duriiig this afternoon, will arrive here tOrmorrow morning, and sail for Wanganui and Wellington at 2 p.m. The Wanaka crossed the Manukau bar at six o'clock this morning, and will work Taranaki to-night. She will arrive here tomorrow afternoon, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton by the same tide at 3 p.m. The Taiaroa leaves Wellington at noon to morrow, will arrive here on Friday mornmorning, and sail lor Taranaki and Manukau at 4 p.m. on Saturday, carrying the outward San Francisco mail. The Rotorua will be the next steamer for Melbourne, leaving Wellington on Monday. Passengers will be forwarded to her by the Wanaka to-morrow. From a late Sydney paper to hand we learn that at the Graf ton Assizes Bruce, the master of the steamer. Vesta, which it will be remembered was blown up, was found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the los 3of the steamer, ia which the owner and his wife and others were drowned, and sentenced to twelve months imprisonment ia the Maitland Gaol.
