No tic 3 should be given tj the Guard at the previous stop- \ ping Station. The Railway Department does not p'eJge itself to the despatch or arrival cf the Trains at the exict time notified in the above Tables ; and in the cent of any circumstance'; arising eicher durirg or prior to the journe/ beiig made, which may render it impossible or in expedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, hut does not undertake to forWi tl the Passengers. LUGGAGE.— Each Passenger is allowed to take 1121b8. of PERSONAL Luggage free (not includirg merchandise of any kiad), end lor every 56lbs. aboge this weight, for every 50 mileo or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will he One Shilling. No luggage will be alloweJ to be taken into the Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other Passengerp. Passengers are strongly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themsglvfß that it is placed en tha Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unleßß it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that th re is room in the Train. Children under three years of age travel free; above three and under fourteen years of age, half fare. HORSES, CARRIAGES, &c— Tho Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train but when cent they must be at the forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. Tho Owners of- Hordes must provide means for securing them in the Horse • box, and the Railway Department will not be accountable for any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horfea. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse- boxes or Carriage- trucks must be made the day before they are wanted DOGS pust be provided with chains, or other (ffi'.Mnt means of securing them. They » will not be allowed *n carriages, . and the sender must obtain a Ticket, to Ye given . up before the end of the journey, before the Dog is delivered. J RETUBN or PERIODICAL TICKETS will not be available for Special and Excur ion Trains, except when the Ordinary Time Table is suspended. RETURN TICKfcTS for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on day ot issu: only. ALL TICKETS used for return later than the day of issue must be presented at the Ticket Window, and re-dated before the Passengers enter the Train for the return Journey. Any Person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the ordinary Fare. ORDINARY SINGLE TICKETS issued on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return Tickets until the end of the following Monday, when re-dated as above. Special Notiob. — To ensure despatch, Parcels, Fxtra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station at least thirty minutes before advertised time of departure of Train.
