IMPERIAL' Db, Hassall's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, EGlbora Viaduct, EC, London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a San.pl9 of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We hove subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are bo forth in a coparate report show tbat this spirit : is of good * strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but.' races of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable, aroma,. and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's • Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well . purified, and is quite genuine. . . Sir,— -I have the honor *to report for your, information, that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by yon, to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the reeult of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet com© nnder, my notice; It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of furil or other injurious impurity, and; has evidently been distilled from superior rys g__in; ; always usedinstead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth tb the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other - samples offered for .ale.
