To tiie Editor op the "Evening- Mail." Sir, — In reference to the horse-whippihg I felt bound to administer to Mr Bunny you have been misinformed as to the true facts of the case, which are : — Firstly, That I told him twice to throw his books down, and when he refused to do so I knocked them, out of his hand myself before I touched him with the whip. Secondly, That I never struck Mr Bunny over the head with my whip at all, and I think Mr Bunny will state the same if asked. Thirdly, That my brother, Langley Adams, never interfered in any way until Mr Teschemaker had run in and endeavored to separate us, and that my brother, Langley Adams, never interfered with Mr Bunny at all. I write this feeling sure that your only desire as Editor is that the public should be in possession of the true facts of the case. — I am, &c, Percy B. Adams.
