RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
[Eefore L. Broad, Esq., R.M.] Richmond Hill Silver Mining Company v. Gerald O'Halloran (Thames) —Mr Atkinson appeared for the plaintiffs, who claimed £38 2s 4d for calls due to the said Company together with interest.. Judgment was given for the plaintiffs with costs, £3 13s. Same Company v. Mr Hennelly (Thames). — In this case Mr Atkinson said the claim was a9imilar one, and for a like amount. Judgment for plaintiffs for £38 2s 4d and costs, £3 1 3s. Same Company v. Mowbray (Auckland). — The amount of the claim in this case was only for the Ilth and 12th calls and interest thereon, amounting to £6 ls 9d. The Clerk of the Court stated that he had received a telegram from the defendant, in which he stated that he paid the amount by cheque on the 6th March, 1879. Mr Atkinson concurring, His Worship adjourned the case for a week, that the defendant might give particulars as to whom tbe money was paid.
