IMPERIAL Db. Hassali/s Report. The A'naivticsL and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, Sth May, 1877. R&port on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Eart. We have subjected a samplf of the abovenamsd article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are B 8 forsh in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, snd that it contains but 1 races of Eolid matter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Kast's Bchiedam Schnapps ia a very superior article at its class, is well purified, arid ia quite genuine. (Signed) K. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the reault of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come tinder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, nnd Is absolutely free from any trace of fiml or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior ry? grain, olways used Instead of malt in the production of thechoicest quaSitue of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compari s favourably with other samples offered for *ale. It may bs advised as equally* suitable for. medical or economic purposes.
