Report on _ Sft-opl. ol Xrrperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed articla to a very Citreiul chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which ara ss forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of solid matter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and agreeable __on__, and a puio and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam .chnapps is a very superior article of its class, ia well purified, and is quits genuine. Babt, Esq, ... i Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the reeult of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample o_ Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. , It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of liml or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grflin, olways used instead of malt in the production of thii choicest quaiiti< sof Schnapps. It is vqry smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with otber samples offered for .ale.
