The Patea is advertised to sail for Patea on Thursday. The signal for a topsail schooner has been flying all the afternoon. The Charles Edward leffc for West Coast ports this morning. The Murray left for Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim this morning, and returns thither to-morrow morning. The Stella leffc Picton for this port afc 1230 p.m. to-day. The Taiaroa arrived here from Wellington this morning, and left for the same port at 4 30 this afternoon. Tbe Albion leaves for Melbourne, via West Coast, on Thursday. The Wakatu arrived here from Wellington last nighfc. She leaves for Wanganui tomorrow at 7 30 a m. The Kennedy arrived in harbor this afternoon at 2 o'clock, from West Coast ports. She leffc Nelson at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, 2nd inst., arriving at Westport at 2 p.m. on Wednesday ; leffc afc 2 a.m. next day for Hokitika, arriving there at 3 p.m. ; left next day at 2 p.m. for Greymouth, arriving there at 4.30 ; discharged cargo and coaled on Saturday, and was detained until Monday, when she leffc at 7.30 a.m. for Westport, crossing the bar at 5.30 same day ; leffc again for Nelson at 7 p.m., arriving here as above. Experienced find weather throughout the passage. The Kennedy sails for Wanganui direct at 6 p.m. to-morrow.
